Greetings, Space Explorers, and Welcome Back!

As we prepare for launch into the 2026–2027 school year, I am excited to begin another incredible journey alongside our amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and valued community members.

At Pinon Hills Elementary, we believe every child has the potential to reach for the stars. Together, we create a learning community where students are encouraged to explore new ideas, discover their strengths, and achieve goals that may seem light-years away.

As a proud AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, we are committed to helping every student chart a course toward success.

Through AVID, we equip students with the tools they need to navigate their educational journey with confidence. By developing organization, critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills, we prepare our learners for future success in college, careers, and beyond.

Our PBIS framework helps ensure that Pinon Hills Elementary remains a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all. By emphasizing respect, responsibility, and safety, we foster a culture where students feel supported, valued, and empowered to shine brightly.

As we embark on this new mission together, I encourage every student to dream big, work hard, and never stop exploring. There will be exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and achievement throughout the year, and I cannot wait to see all that our students accomplish.

So buckle up, future astronauts, scientists, engineers, and explorers—our journey through the 2026–2027 school year is about to begin!

Welcome Back, Coyotes!

I am excited to continue serving as the Assistant Principal of Piñon Hills Elementary School as we begin another exciting school year.

As we prepare to launch into a new year of learning, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for all that awaits our students, staff, and families. Every new school year is a new mission—with new opportunities to explore, new challenges to overcome, and new discoveries to make along the way.

One of the most rewarding parts of being a part of Piñon Hills is witnessing our students grow in so many ways. Our goal is not only to help students reach new academic heights, but also to help them develop confidence, character, creativity, and a love of learning. Like explorers charting a new course, our students are constantly discovering what they are capable of achieving.

This year, we will continue working together to create a school environment where every Coyote feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and ready to reach for the stars. Each student has unique strengths and talents, and we are committed to helping them discover those strengths and use them to soar.

I look forward to celebrating the successes of our students throughout the year—whether they are major milestones or the small victories that happen every day in classrooms, on the playground, and throughout our campus.

Thank you for being an important part of the Piñon Hills Elementary family. I am excited to embark on this journey with all of you and can't wait to see where this year's mission takes us.
