Howdy partners, and welcome back. As we saddle up for learning in the 2025–2026 school year, I’m thrilled to ride into a new academic year alongside such an incredible group of students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and engaged community members.

At Pinon Hills Elementary, we’re not just a school—we’re a team, a community, and a family. As a proud AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, we’re blazing trails that lead to both academic excellence and a strong, positive school culture.

As an AVID school, our mission is to equip every student with the skills they need to lasso their goals and ride confidently toward college and career readiness. Through organization, critical thinking, and student-driven learning, we prepare our learners to thrive on whatever trail they choose to follow.

With PBIS guiding our schoolwide expectations, we build a community where respect, responsibility, and safety aren’t just rules—they’re part of our everyday way of life. When students feel valued and supported, they can truly shine.

So grab your boots, tighten your reins, and get ready for a year of adventure, achievement, and growth.

Let’s saddle up and make 2025–2026 our best year yet!

JeremyJeremy Sauer- Assistant Principal

Welcome back coyotes! I am excited to continue this year as the Assistant Principal of Pinon Hills Elementary School.

A bit about me for those coming into Pinon Hills Elementary. I grew up in Victorville and I am married to my wonderful wife of 16 years who grew up in Phelan. We have an 9 year old daughter who also attends Pinon Hills Elementary School. I have been in education for just under 17 years. Before being appointed Assistant Principal at Pinon Hills, I served in other administrative positions at other school sites such as Program Specialist, Assistant Principal, Interim Principal, and Principal. In addition, I have had the opportunity to teach music at a variety of grade levels in both the elementary (grades 4-5) and secondary levels (grades 9-12).

I am filled with excitement and anticipation as we begin another chapter together. It is truly inspiring to witness the continued growth of our students—not just academically, but also in their confidence, character, and creativity.

Each year brings new opportunities, and I am confident that this one will be no different. We remain dedicated to nurturing a supportive and challenging environment where every student can thrive. I look forward to celebrating their achievements, big and small, as we move forward together.

Thank you for being an essential part of our school family. Let’s make this year our best yet!
